A Canadian Conference Board Study on CD and DVD Piracy had to be withdrawn because large parts were plagiarized from a US industry Study.


The new study on the digital economy from the self-described independent research organization is a deceptive, plagiarized report that copied passages from the International Intellectual Property Alliance, including one instance without any attribution.

Officials at the conference board declined to be interviewed, but the organization released a statement to say it's standing by the report.
