Eric Whitacre assembled 250 YouTube videos into a choir singing his composition.

Whiteacre auditioned singers contacted by Facebook, his blog and YouTube.

Each singer was recorded singing from sheet music he had sent them.

The individual videos were edited into a virtual choir on a virtual stage with Whitacre conducting.
