French World Cup fans don't hear vuvuzelas because Canal Plus filters the sound.
World Cup fans elsewhere have to endure the buzzing bee sound of the vuvuzelas in South Africa.
Canal Plus contracted with Paris based Audionamix to design a real time audio filter to remove the B-flat note without changing the other sounds.
The program is delayed by 214 milliseconds while the DSP software does its magic.
