Cabrera appeared nervous at Customs. He had 18 Titi Monkeys strapped to his body.
Roberto Zavaleta Sol Cabrera had stuffed the titi monkeys into socks and hidden them in a girdle strapped around his waist in a bid to smuggle them through customs .
The endangered monkeys were discovered after officials spotted the smuggler behaving nervously and detected a mysterious bulge under his jumper.
He was arrested on charges of trafficking an endangered species and taken to the office of the Federal Attorney for Environmental Protection for further investigation.
