The Beer Lovers Party of Belarus, founded 1993, promised quality brew. Their logo was a drunken hedgehog. The party was liquidated in 1998.


Beer Lovers Party of Belarus, or BLP (Партия любителей пива, ПЛП) was one of several Beer Lovers Parties created in post-Soviet states.

The major goal of the BLP was the struggle for the cleanness and quality of the national beer, state independence and the neutrality of Belarus, freedom of economic relations, personal inviolability and inviolability of the private property.

The party was liquidated in 1998 by the Belarus Superior Court.
