Manchester Police caught Tony skateboarding in a prohibited area. A letter was sent to his Mum. Tony is 29.


Tony, a semi-professional boarder who hasn’t lived at home for years, was was stopped by police when he was skateboarding in a prohibited area.

Although he gave his name, address and date of birth to officers who stopped him, he received a letters addressed to his parents asking them to talk to their son about the matter.

Warning the couple their son could face a £500 fine, it said: “The parent is usually best placed to decide the most appropriate course of action.”
